  1. This directory contains the patched source for Bash V1.08 + Patches 
  2. that is available from prep.ai.mit.edu as of August 19, 1991. The files 
  3. in this directory have been modified to work with the Atari ST gcc 
  4. distribution, as currently maintained by J. Bammi. The function 
  5. flush_key_buff() is a new addition to the termcap library, and as of 
  6. August 19, 1991 has not yet been released, but should appear in the next 
  7. patch level of the curses/termcap library. Also the function 
  8. _del_symdir_cache was added to the standard gnu library, and should also 
  9. appear in the next release of that library.

  14. P.S. all modification to the original FSF Bash Source Code has been done 
  15. via contidional compilation, and may be found by searching the source for 
  16. "atarist".
